If your vehicle is impounded, the following steps will be taken:
Your vehicle will be held in our impound lot.
Washington State Patrol and the Department of Licensing will be notified immediately.
We will send a first-class letter notifying you that your vehicle has been impounded.
120 hours from the time of impound, if you do not redeem your vehicle in this time frame, it will then be considered abandoned.
We will notify you via a certified letter that your vehicle will be auctioned in 15 days if it is not redeemed. The Department of Licensing will also be notified.
You may redeem your vehicle at any time prior to the auction.
The auction place and time will be published no less than 3 days and no more than 10 days prior to the auction.
You will not be able to bid on your vehicle at the auction.
Cost to redeem your vehicle:
Our published rates: $295.00 hourly for the impound process (Usually 1–2 hours).
Storage fees from the time the vehicle is logged in at our impound lot: $75/day, incremental. Charges will stop at the time you notify us that you are on your way to redeem the vehicle.
Our normal business hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
A $100.00 after-hours fee may be charged.
